March Update:
Chicktime San Antonio Dignowity Hill was blessed with a joyful group of volunteers for our March workshop at the Strong Foundation!
Strong Foundation is a Christian ministry right here in San Antonio that provides a safe place for families with children who are rebuilding their lives and working toward a fresh start.
While the parents attend life-skills and parenting classes designed to help them get back on their feet, the Chicktime crew get the sweet privilege of spending time with the children—playing games, sharing laughs, and simply making sure they feel seen and loved.
And honestly… it really is that simple.
No elaborate plans required. Just willing hearts. A few games, a ball, maybe a craft, and a group of volunteers ready to give these kids their full attention for a little while. Sometimes the most powerful ministry is simply showing up.
If you’ve ever wondered how you could serve, this is such a beautiful place to start. Come play, laugh, and love on some amazing kids while their parents are doing the hard and hopeful work of building a new future.

February Update:
This February, our Chicktime and Strong Foundation family gathered for another beautiful evening filled with laughter, creativity, and connection. We cherished the time spent together as friendships deepened, new faces joined in, and our community continued to grow.
The kids brought so much joy and energy to the space—sharing smiles, working side by side, and enjoying every moment of being together. Their excitement and love for one another were a powerful reminder of the joy found in community and togetherness.

This January, our Chicktime and Strong Foundation family kicked off the new year with joy, creativity, and connection.
We were especially grateful to welcome new friends and families as we spent the evening laughing, creating, and building meaningful relationships together.
The kids filled the outside space with energy and smiles as they shared their excitement, made new friends, and enjoyed time together. Their joy was a beautiful reminder of the hope and fresh beginnings a new year brings.

This month, our Chicktime and Strong Foundation family gathered in the crisp winter air for an evening wrapped in warmth, creativity, and community.
As the cold breeze danced around us and Christmas lights sparkled nearby, we spent time connecting, coloring Christmas stockings, and celebrating the joy of togetherness.
The kids brought so much life to the night—bundled up in cozy layers, laughing, running, and carefully coloring their stockings with excitement for the season ahead. Their joy lit up the chilly evening, reminding us once again of the beauty found in small moments shared with big hearts.

Surrounded by twinkling lights and the peaceful sounds of the night, we spent time connecting, playing, and celebrating the joy of community.

The kids filled the day with energy and joy—tossing footballs, blowing bubbles, making colorful bracelets, and sharing laughter that could brighten any heart. Each smile was a sweet reminder of why this mission matters so deeply: to show up, love boldly, and remind others of their worth in Christ.

Last week, we had the joy and privilege of gathering with our Chicktime and Strong Foundation family for a day overflowing with connection, laughter, and love.
