Goodbye and Thank You!

March Update:

Hamsy & Joe led our March Chicktime Deerfield Beach workshop, and it was such a sweet afternoon.

There was crafting, games, and plenty of laughter along the way. What a gift it is to have the chance to simply show up for these kids with full hearts and intentional attention.

We pray you can see the love and hope in these moments—and that you might join us for our April workshop.

February Update:

Chicktime Deerfield Beach-

February Workshop was so fun and unique!

Spin Art kept everyone engaged and laughing, creating space to connect, create, and just enjoy being together.

It’s a gift to see people show up with open hearts, choosing to serve and love others the way Christ calls us to — through presence, kindness, and time freely given.

Easygoing, joy-filled, and rooted in purpose — this is the heart of Chicktime.

Thank you to all our incredible volunteers who show up month after month to bring hope, joy, and love to these children. We look forward to serving alongside you in the new year!

January Update:

We did not meet in January due to SOS Children’s Home still being on holiday. 

December Update:

Chicktime Deerfield Beach gathered for our December workshop at the SOS Village for Children, and it was a truly special day! We joined forces with our charity partner to celebrate the Christmas season at their annual Light the Village event.

Our chapter hosted an ornament-making station where we helped the kids get creative and get excited for the holidays.

Our Chicktime chapter continues to have a strong presence at our charity partner, and we are thrilled for all that 2026 will bring as we keep doing what we do best—loving and supporting the kids who live at the Village.

Thank you to all our incredible volunteers who show up month after month to bring hope, joy, and love to these children. We look forward to serving alongside you in the new year!

November Update:

Our November workshop was full of fall fun! We played bingo, enjoyed outdoor games, made festive crafts, and even celebrated the Thanksgiving season with some delicious pie—so many flavors, all so yummy! 🥧

Month after month, we’re proud to show up and shine a light of hope and healing in our community. 

We can’t wait to be back in December for the SOS Villages Annual “Light Up the Village” event! ✨

Chicktime Deerfield Beach is excited to host a cookie decorating table, and we’d love your help in any way—whether that’s donating supplies, volunteering your time, or simply spreading the word.

Together, we make a difference.

October Update:

Chicktime Deerfield Beach volunteers brought a little Halloween fun to the amazing kids at SOS Children’s Villages this month — and what an exciting time it was!

It’s always a joy to watch kids of all ages dive into the activities we bring each month. Whether it’s decorating pumpkins with stickers, painting them, or simply blowing bubbles, their excitement over the little things truly melts our hearts.

Our volunteers leave each time feeling so blessed to have spent even a little time with these incredible children.

We’ll be back at it in November — and we’d love to see YOU there!

September Update:

After a summer break from workshops, we’ve returned to SOS Village for Children doing what we do best — showing up with love, courage, and a whole lot of fun!

From little ones crafting to older kids painting, and of course, outdoor play for everyone — it was a day full of joy, creativity, and connection.

FUN times at the foster village. Outside activity showed their energy and excitement! The inside activity was enjoyed and more active fun flying their own creations. No electronics

Another Beautiful day with SOS foster kids!

Our September workshop was jammed packed fun!

Our chapter did not meet due to kids having camps and other activities all month.

Our charity partner asked us to skip this month due to the kids being gifted tickets to events, summer camp  and other fun things. 

June Update:

We had a groovy good time at our June Chicktime Deerfield Beach workshop! Tie-dye activities need special care and attention and we are so grateful we had so many volunteers show up to provide just that!

Hotdogs and hamburgers and food galore added to the fun. We certainly did set up summer vacation in a great way with lots of smiles and full tummies!

Join us one month! You will be glad you did!

Opps! Fall Fun was a blast, but we forgot to take pictures. Trying to see if any one on campus has some to share.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, our workshop had to be canceled. See you in November.

It’s such an honor to serve our community.

August Update:

The campus had a full schedule with summer camps and other activities. They asked us to skip August and come back in September . They are grateful for our monthly commitment and know we will be back! We are grateful the kids at SOS Villages get to experience summer fun! 

July Update:

Our July workshop was canceled by SOS . The kids have so much going over the summer and we love they have others on their side and want to share love and fun summer experiences. 

June Update:

We had ice cream to start. Right as we were starting these 2 kids ran in asking “Where is the ice cream?!”. They pushed open a door I thought for sure was too heavy, but no, strong hungry ice cream loving cuties had no trouble expressing their love for ice cream! Several kids gradually followed. The ice cream with all the toppings and popsicles were a hit. THANK YOU HEIKE and your daughter for setting it up. After ice cream we did free play outside. Talk about energy. There was talent everywhere from basketball, running and more impressively kids helping kids.

We had SO much fun making bracelets with the children of SOS Children’s Villages Florida! Thank you Leanne for bringing in such a fun activity

Our next event is Saturday, April 1st! We are doing a big Easter egg hunt!

We had such a fun time this weekend decorating Valentine’s Day cookies and making Valentine’s Day card boxes!
