Why I serve a leadership role with Chicktime:
Chicktime lets me blend my passion for empowering women and children with my desire to make a real difference in our community. I’m committed to supporting kids who’ve faced neglect, abuse, or abandonment. With God we can help create a safe space where these children can experience love, joy, and personal growth. It also gives me the chance to inspire others to use their unique talents to serve those in need, fostering a sense of purpose and fulfillment. As a leader, I believe that empowering women empowers others.
My passions and gifts:
My passion is to Love God and Love people…. and food!
My hobbies and interests:
I enjoy bike riding, getting my hands dirty in the garden, and cooking for others on a cold day. You will also find me camping in the cold with my husband and 3 dogs.

Why I serve a leadership role with Chicktime:
I serve a leadership role with Chicktime because I’m passionate about empowering children and creating new leaders. My teaching experience has allowed me to guide young lives toward their potential, and Chicktime’s focus on mentorship aligns with my desire to make a tangible impact. My strong relationship with God inspires me to serve selflessly, creating a space where both kids and volunteers can grow spiritually, emotionally, and intellectually. Through this leadership role, I can live out my faith and make a positive difference in the lives of children. faith through action, making a positive impact in the lives of children and their futures.
My passions and gifts:
My hobbies focus on exploration and growth. I love learning new skills, reading, and diving into interesting subjects. Traveling is a passion, and I enjoy discovering new places, cultures, and meeting people. Spending time outdoors near water helps me relax and reconnect with nature. Ultimately, I thrive on experiencing new things, whether it’s an activity or destination, as it keeps life exciting and full of growth.
My hobbies and interests:
My passions and gifts are rooted in teaching, learning, and faith. I love sharing knowledge and helping others grow, whether in the classroom or through mentoring. My relationship with God is the foundation of everything I do, inspiring me to live with purpose and serve others. A verse that resonates with me is 1 Peter 4:10: “Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.” It reminds me that our gifts are meant to be shared to uplift and encourage others.

Why I serve a leadership role in ChickTime:
I serve because I have a deep and genuine care for people and children! It is my strong belief and value that if we pour into people, we get to grow into better Human Beings and serve the world in the best way possible! As a believer in God, I believe that we are to be the Hands and Feet of Jesus and I attempt to do this in my daily life; no matter whom I may cross paths with. I also serve a leadership role in ChickTime because of my vocation as a Counselor. As a Counselor I get the Honor and Privilege to sit with people and their stories and deeply understand the importance and impact of simply being with people, caring for them and offering your presence as people ebb and flow through life.

I have a passion and gift for people and their stories, connecting with them and being present as best I can be.
My hobbies and interests:
Gosh how much time do we have? I thoroughly enjoy being with my family and friends and connecting with people whom may be strangers at first, but quickly become friends! I love having great conversations and sharing laughter over a great meal! I love going to the movies, baking and cooking. I also enjoy a good hike and going for walks.
