Why I serve a leadership role:
I am someone deeply guided by my faith and a heart for children, which is why I knew Chicktime was the perfect organization for me when I began looking for ways to serve in my community last year. Reading the Chicktime mission was all it took for me to realize I was being called to step up, connect, and make a difference in any way I could. Becoming a chapter leader has been an incredible opportunity to pour my heart into something meaningful, and I’m excited to join hands with like-minded individuals who are passionate about bringing hope and healing to those in need.
My passions & gifts:
My love for children and people has always been at the core of who I am. I find my greatest joy in connecting with others, creating safe spaces where they feel seen and valued, and sharing my heart openly. Building relationships and fostering a sense of belonging is not just a passion—it’s a gift I cherish and aim to use to bring light to those around me. Whether it’s through simple acts of kindness or meaningful conversations, I feel called to make others feel loved and supported.
My hobbies & interests:
If I’m not spending time with my 5-year-old poodle mix, Mister, you’ll likely find me connecting with animals anywhere I can! I even keep bird seed in my car to feed the birds, ducks, and geese I run into at parks or parking lots. I’m an avid reader with a special love for anything about religion, psychology, and poetry, and self discovery. I believe books offer us valuable insights into both the human experience and the world around us. I also believe food has the power to nourish the soul, which is why I find so much joy in the kitchen, making homemade recipes whenever I get the chance. Cooking and baking allow me to share love and warmth with those I care about and myself!
