About Our Chapter

As the Managing leader for Chicktime – Mission, I am committed to bringing light and hope to women and children in our community who have faced hardship. I believe every person deserves to feel seen, valued, and loved, and I want to create a space where healing and joy are possible. Chicktime gives me the chance to live out my faith, share compassion, and build connections that inspire resilience and transformation. Through this work, I hope to remind others—and myself—that we are all worthy of love, restoration, and a brighter future. To anyone reading this who would like to become involved with our chapter, please reach out to me directly so we can get your Chicktime journey started!

Blessings,

Julie

Our History:

Lupita Zamora served as Managing Leader for Chicktime Mission 2016-2019 and has been a dedicated volunteer with Chicktime since the chapter was founded in 2009 by Natalie Basham (2009-1011). Lupita continued to serve under Echo Richardson (2012-2014)when she stepped into leadership and also under Carol Wiens (2014-2016). It is Lupita’s heartfelt belief that sharing a small amount of kindness cost nothing, but makes a great difference to someone who has nothing. Lupita believe’s we should all reflect on how important it is to recognize the value in all people. Lupita joined the Leadership for Chicktime McAllen to help get that chapter launched and is now serving on the re-launched  Chicktime Mission chapter!
