Where We Serve

The Settlement Home is a private, licensed nonprofit that cares for children who come from abusive and neglectful backgrounds. Their mission is to promote healing and growth in children, young adults and families by providing a continuum of care, support and resources. They serve individuals who have experienced severe emotional trauma, abuse and neglect. Through a variety of services and programs, they are able to meet the specific needs of each individual they serve. Settlement Home values connections and recognize the importance that relationships have on their day to day work. They focus on hope and healing by seeking out opportunities to give their children stability. At Settlement Home, they value cultural competence and honor the differences of their staff, children and community. They actively seek opportunities to develop leadership qualities within our staff members, for use within the organization and the community. Settlement Home is a an innovative teaching community, where people come to experience growth professionally and personally. They strive for their staff to be well-trained in evidence-based treatment that best serves their children and families.
