July Update:
Chicktime San Antonio’s July Workshop was Creative and YUMMY!
A huge shoutout and heartfelt thank you to our wonderful workshop leader, Heather from Sugar & Meringue, for hosting a cookie-decorating workshop that brought so much joy to the girls at Boysville Children’s Home!
Heather thoughtfully prepared individual cookie kits for each girl and volunteer—each packed with four cookies, icing, and decorating tools. With incredible patience and love, she guided everyone step-by-step (with visual help on the screen!) to decorate cookies featuring a peace sign, a flower, and a happy face. The final cookie was a freestyle masterpiece, and the girls truly let their creativity shine!
It was a beautiful time filled with laughter, calm, and creativity. Moments like these remind us why we show up every month—to help these amazing girls heal, grow, and feel seen. On the third Saturday of each month, we have the unique honor of offering our time, our hearts, and a bit of fun to support them on their journey.
