Setting Roots Down

March Update:

Chicktime Bulverde had our very first field trip with the girls at SJRC Texas & Belong.

We were able to tour the beautiful campus of Texas A&M San Antonio with Chicktime friend, Dr. Melissa Jozwiak, a professor at the university.

We took a tour of the library, several classrooms, and the girls favorite spot, the Just Baked Smart Bistro. (we got our steps in)

After that, we met with Ashley at the FATE Center to hear all the wonderful opportunities available to these girls.

Dr. Jozwiak treated all of us in attendance to lunch in the Campus Cafeteria. It was a wonderful experience. Thank you Melissa for helping us “plant the seed” in these girls.
