December Update:

Instead of a traditional workshop, we joined the Immerse Arkansas Christmas party and hosted a gingerbread house competition — and what we experienced was so much more than crafts and candy.

We laughed, we created, we competed (a little ), and most importantly, we connected.

Our volunteers shared how full their hearts were just being present — hanging out, listening, encouraging, and letting the youth simply be kids. For some, it was their very first gingerbread house.

For others, it was a reminder that joy can live in the smallest moments.

This is what Chicktime is about: showing up consistently, building relationships, and reminding these young people that they are seen, valued, and deeply loved.

Grateful for our partnership with Immerse, for every volunteer who said yes, and for the memories made around tables like this one.
