Chicktime New Year

Our December party almost didn’t happen, as so many were under the weather. Instead, our leadership team made plans to drop off cookies for the day and night staff, along with gifts for all 36 shelter residents.

But God had a special assignment waiting for us.

At that exact moment in time, we were sent to the shelter not simply to deliver Christmas goodies—but to be His witnesses to one precious woman and her child who will soon be leaving the shelter. This sweet mother had just experienced the loss of a loved one, and God placed us there to offer comfort, love, and His presence during her time of grief.

Sometimes our workshops don’t go according to our plans—but they always go according to His.

As we look toward 2026, may God continue to use us and our Chicktime Syracuse Chapter. May we always step out of the way and let Him lead.
