Pumpkin Pie Time

October Update:

Did someone say “Pillows & Pajamas”? Today was our pajama party. We dressed in cozy, soft sleepwear… and some even wore slippers.

Our activity was arts & crafts, and we made throw pillows.

Each girl chose a pillow pattern. They stuffed and sealed their design. These young ladies are very talented, and they really enjoy arts n crafts.

Some even decided to create more than one pillow.

I believe it’s safe to say this activity was a hit. They learned how to create decorative pillows using cloth, cushion, fabric glue, and ribbons.

Having made their own pillow is a tangible memory they can cherish for years to come.

For food, we had a big and fulfilling buffet breakfast!

We served homemade grits, toast, eggs, sausage, bacon, pancakes, yogurt, fresh fruit, and juices.
