Where We Serve
Chicktime Greenville is proud to serve at Hope Center for Children! The Center was formed when two strong organizations, the Ellen Hines Smith Girls’ Home and the Children Shelter of the Upstate, combined forces to provide a broader array of services to meet the needs of children and families in our community. The Anchor House, a division of Hope Center, provides around-the-clock care in a safe, home-like environment where girls may heal from abuse or neglect and gain skills that help them succeed. Serving girls from all across the state who are 11 to 19 years old, their professional staff oversee organized activities that build skills necessary for meaningful and productive lives in the future.
The Hope Center for Children is certified as a sponsor site in the Teaching-Family Model, an evidence-based program that is proven to lead to positive behavioral changes for children and adults. The Teaching-Family Model is used in their Anchor House program, with staff teaching and modeling sustainable life skills and thoughtful behavior, leading to positive outcomes for the girls in our care. They use this program because it is proven to yield positive outcomes for girls in their care!
