January Update:

Our January gathering at Chicktime Jackson was a joyful celebration filled with meaning, laughter, and love.

Because we don’t meet in December, we hosted a late Christmas party—and it was worth the wait! Each girl received a Christmas card with a monetary gift, and we also celebrated five birthdays this month. The birthday girls were honored with an additional card and gift, making the day extra special.

Each participant received an oil lamp, symbolizing the lamps in the parable of the ten virgins. We read the story together, talked about its meaning, and then—true Chicktime style—acted it out as a play! It was lighthearted, engaging, and fun, yet the message was clear and meaningful: we are called to be ready for Jesus when He returns.

We shared a wonderful feast together—pulled pork, dinner rolls, green salad, potato salad, chips, brownies, cupcakes, and cookies. It truly felt like a celebration of both Christmas and life.

To wrap up the day, the girls created custom bracelets, choosing from a beautiful variety of stones and jewels. Each bracelet was unique—just like them—and a sweet reminder of a day spent together in joy and fellowship.

It was a fun, meaningful, and love-filled day—one we’ll be smiling about for a long time
