June Update:
Our June workshop was wonderful! Workshop leader, Nelissa, did an excellent job! She brought music, a karaoke machine, and a fun DIY hat decorating activity. She also brought arts and crafts activities specifically for the children like apron decorating and coloring books!
It was a great turnout. See you next month!
January Update;
Today was beautiful.
It felt good to be back to serving House of Ruth in person after being gone since Covid shut things down in the world!
We made vision boards and our workshop was a success!! It was so much fun and also very uplifting to be able to hear some of the women’s stories and offer encouragement
We had about 10-12 women attend and about 4 kiddos! This was the largest workshop attendance yet! (even considering pre-Covid attendance!) At the end of the workshop, Chicktime Columbia Chapter Co- leaders , Rebecca & Terrika , chatted & shared that they both prayed for a good turn out & God definitely answered their prayers!

May Update:
The Chicktime Columbia leadership team made the May workshop drop off at the House of Ruth! Pray with us that the activity will be good for their souls and reminded there are people routing for them!

Hey Chicktime Columbia!
We are back ! We have figured out how we can have workshops despite the risk of Covid. We will have drop off workshops! We will put together the same wonderful monthly activities and drop off the activities for the House of Ruth to do on their own. We still get to love and encourage them, but just not in person… for now. We hope that will be soon!
We welcome help. Let us know if you would like to help put together a workshop . We have ideas just reach out to us! We are in this together. Let’s be the village!
