Meet The Leaders

Why I serve a leadership role with Chicktime:

Shortly after I became a Christian, 42 years ago, I knew I was called to Children’s’ ministry. I have served the children of the church for years but out of the last 10 years have spent 5 of those years in Africa ministering to orphans. Having recently returned from Africa, I was praying about how I could reach children in my community and googled volunteer opportunities and that is how I found Chicktime. I believe that Chicktime is the perfect vehicle to bridge the gap between children who need our help and the women of our community who have so much to give but don’t know where to start.

I am very excited about meeting new friends and spending quality time with our children that the Lord has called us to love. I expect nothing less than the bonding of our hearts together, brokenness healed and to witness the saving grace of God in action as we allow the Lord Jesus to lead us.

Over the last almost 4 years I have been a Missionary in Tete Mozambique serving the Lord, living in an orphanage with children that were abandoned and abused. God has blessed me with a love of all people regardless of age. I also played a role in helping to lead in the ministry along with my friend Linda Zampieri. In my heart I want to continue to serve those that are less fortunate and love them into wholeness.  I am excited to be a part of the Jackson Ministry and look forward to the Lord using us to effect the lives of others.

My Hobbies and Interests:

Love to spend time with others, play games, putting puzzles together, also very interested in helping others in need. I was a Big Sister in the Big Brother & Big Sister organization years ago for 5 years.  Currently training with the (CPC) Center for Pregnancy Choices.

My passions and gifts:

Several passions of mine are to encourage and to love others.  I also love to counsel with those that just need someone to talk to and working with others as a team and enjoying the fruitfulness that comes from it.
