Winter Fun!

December Update:

Words cannot express how much joy I received from hosting my 3rd annual Chicktime Christmas party at the Alabama Baptist Children’s Home! ????We watched The Polar Express and I was completely flooded with happiness when we made it to the North Pole in the movie and our two smallest children, two girls, were in complete awe and began clapping and dancing! ????????

They continued to watch the movie and eat their popcorn and candy when little girl #1 asks “What kind of candy is this?” to which little girl #2 replied “It’s a Kit Kat, but it’s not an actual cat.” Y’all, I haven’t laughed that hard in soooo long! ????

Today reminded me why, after three years, I continue to come monthly and volunteer at this home- my heart needs those children as much as those children need our love and support. And so, I look forward to many more years of serving as the Lord saw fit for me: loving His tiniest of children. ????????????????
