Where We Serve

Salvation Army Shelter

The Salvation Army is an international movement offering a refuge of love, hope, and change to more than 30 million Americans in 2013; a shelter for the homeless, a place of sustenance for the hungry, recovery for the downtrodden after disaster, and spiritual renewal for the addicted.

Family Service Programs are available at the Salvation Army in Clarksville. This program helps families and individuals in need with emergency food, housing, utility assistance and other temporal needs. They help youth in the community by addressing long-term specific issues of youth for whom family care is undesirable or unavailable. Education, counseling, health care and specific training seek to meet the needs of such groups as pregnant teens, emancipated minors, and wards of the juvenile court.

Chicktime Clarksville serves youth at the Salvation Army Shelter the first Wednesday each month by hosting a Youth Night. Our chapter is a group of women in the Clarksville and Fort Campbell communities who spread love and hope to youth by leading them in fun and meaningful activities. Our mission is to instill confidence, hope, and healing in the boys and girls we serve.
