Why I serve a leadership role with ChickTime:
For quite some time, I had been searching for an organization to volunteer with that truly resonated with me. When the founder of Chicktime explained what the role entailed, I knew it was perfect! This opportunity was something I’ve been hoping and praying about for a couple of years, even though I wasn’t quite sure what it would look like. Serving our unique clientele has been a deep-seated desire of mine for many years, and I feel that now is the perfect time to so!
My hobbies and interests:
I have many interests, music – any genre, concerts, plays and most performing arts. My hobbies are constantly evolving; whether it’s scrapbooking, gardening, participating in book clubs, beachcombing, yoga, mentoring, or joining a meet up, I love finding new activities to dive into.
My passions and gifts:
Above all, children and their best interests are my true passion. I believe I can best serve them through my gifts of optimism, encouragement, and simply showing up. Being present and offering a positive, supportive environment is something that I love to do.
