Table Etiquette

The girls were excited to see what a real college campus looks like and many expressed interest in potentially attending the school post high school graduation. We toured a variety of buildings, including the science and health wing, the dual enrollment wing, the photography wing, the nursing hall, and their favorite- student services. The campus was beautiful- well maintained, easy layout, and a number of different majors and classes that sparked the girls interest.

At Chicktime, one of our goals is to provide these young ladies the access and exposure to a variety of experiences that might spark an interest and start them planning for the future. At Chicktime we strive to provide the support necessary for them to be successful in all their future endeavors. We hope this field trip plants the seed for our young ladies to think about next steps as they transition from foster care to adulthood. Saturday was definitely a productive step in that process.
