Stop and Smell the Flowers!

Chicktime New Braunfels January workshop was a perfect way to start the new year of continued service to the young moms / youth at SJRC off! Thanks to workshop leaders – Kelly Young and Valerie Leist the girls and staff were well fed with a sandwich platter, fruit platter, chips, Mac and Cheese , and Cookies!

The activity was all about positive affirmations!! We discussed what that is… made some of our own… and then started creating our positive affirmation canvases! We took pictures of the girls with a Polaroid camera to make the focal point of the canvas .

 

We used modge podge to put fun and positive stickers around the picture! We gave Easel Stands to each of the girls for them to display their canvases! We are so grateful for volunteers who came and played with Toddlers and held babies for the moms to participate.
