Spring Is Here

February Update:

We had the sweetest time hosting our Valentine’s workshop with the children at Roy Maas Youth Alternatives! The highlight of the day was a fun decoupage activity led by Ms. Jamie, where each child created their very own heart-shaped canvas. The kids were such a delight, carefully picking out the materials they wanted to use and joyfully designing their unique works of art. Their creativity truly shined through every piece.

Ms. Samantha and Ms. Jamie, worked alongside the children, helping them glue their designs onto their hearts and bringing each masterpiece to life. It was a beautiful day full of creativity, kindness, and Valentine’s cheer that everyone will remember fondly. All of our hearts were filled engaging with the children and hearing the chatter and laughter filling the room.

The children were also treated to some wonderful Valentine’s goody bags filled with treats and a couple of fun activities, one of which Ms. Sandra couldn’t wait to show them how to play!!

And of course, Valentine’s day wouldn’t be as sweet without everyone getting to enjoy treats brought by Ms. Jamie, which included chocolate covered cookies, cupcakes, drinks and some pretty cool Fruity Pebble covered strawberries—yum! It was a joyful and love-filled celebration that everyone truly enjoyed. Thank you Ms. Samantha for always showing up for the kiddos, you add so much warmth and love to our events!!
