Apologies for the late post ladies, it’s been a while month!  Please remember that Thursday the 25th we are doing a collection for a ministry called Jesus Said Love. The goal of this ministry is to build intentional relationships with women in the commercial sex industry in order bring them hope and show love to them where they are. Many of these women are in desperate situations and most of them are mothers. JSL builds relationships by visiting strip clubs every month, bringing high quality gift bags to the dancers and club employees with no strings attached. This month, we are collecting brand name lipsticks, such as MAC, Revlon, etc. for JSL’s September club outreach. We need to collect 75 lipsticks in shades of red, pink and fuschia, each with a hand written note of encouragement. We will meet on Thursday, September 25 at the EZ’s Brick Oven and Grill on Bitters at 7 p.m. to collect the lipsticks and learn more about the ministry. We will also share more that night on upcoming events for Chicktime including a look at 2015! If you have ideas for our chapter, this is the time to bring them!

August Highlights

In August we had another successful Changing Directions program at the courthouse.  The impact we have made on these young women continues to be amazing! Our final Changing Directions program will be on October 18th from 8am – 1pm, so mark your calendars now!
