September Highlights

Thank you to the Chicktime Mesa gals that helped serve our Spaghetti dinner to 42 beautiful children at the Child Crisis Center!

I wish I could have taken photos of the babies, the toddlers and the big kids enjoying their Vito’s spaghetti!   They loved it!  Some had two or three servings (and I believe one toddler had 4 servings – I’m not sure where he put it, it certainly didn’t end up on the floor).   It was a great night and Cheryl & I are very grateful to you gals that spent your evening with us, with the kids, and cleaning up floors and highchairs.

I was reminded of a quote by  Steve Maraboli, “A kind gesture can reach a wound that only compassion can heal.”  Thank you Chicktime gals for the compassion you show over and over again.
