Why I serve a leadership role with Chicktime:

God is calling us. We are listening, but until we each take our place the world isn’t whole. That is why I am establishing Chicktime Empowered in San Marcos, Texas. My calling is to provide the structure and the encouragement for the women of San Marcos to uncover their God given passions and pursue them.  I am blessed to know that God is calling me to be a part of the movement in Christ regarding women’s issues. The excitement I’ve seen on the faces of women who are walking alongside me, attending the meetings, and hearing my vision for Chicktime Empowered takes my breath away, and is priceless confirmation from my Maker that I am truly treading on holy ground. During these meetings, I have seen women come to life with my very eyes right in front of me as a ‘light’ turns on, their creative juices surge, and ideas just flow out of them so fast I am barely able to keep up! God comes to life in them as we make this journey together, and I couldn’t be happier. As a leader, nothing thrills me more than to see women come alive and then plug in to their destiny.  Welcome to Chicktime Empowered. My passions and gifts:

My gift and passion is teaching. I’ve also had the opportunity to mentor several women through our ministry.  Seeing these women come in not knowing what God has called them to do and before the curriculum ends, God has impressed on their hearts His purpose for their lives. I have witnessed this many times and each time it’s emotionally overwhelming.

Hobbies and Interests:

My husband and I just love spending time together. We take long walks, rides and attend “movie premiers” regularly.  We also teach biblically based curriculums to our Parenting Through Christ-Promise Group and the Hands of Hope Ministry, which is a 10 week Women‟s Job Corp program that helps women reenter the job market, get their GED’s and go back to school.  I’ve been given the opportunity to preach at the Women’s Correctional Facility in Lockhart, Texas once a month.  So as you can see, God definitely has plans for our lives.

Why I serve a leadership role with Chicktime:

The reason I find it important to serve as co leader for Chicktime Empowere is because God has quickened my spirit to champion women. As women, we get caught up in the task of daily living and we get lost, some of us are totally void of the gifts that God has placed in each of us, which causes us to miss our destiny.

My passions and gifts:

My passions have taken me to mentor women in personal growth and understanding their gifts, take charge of their finances and raising their children.

Hobbies and Interests:

We help women understand their value so they can operate on their value and not question their worth.
I’d like to direct them to different resources that can assist them in their quest for success and beyond this is the reason we added a new component to Chicktime Empowered called  World Financial Group. This gives women the opportunity to establish themselves in the working community as owner of their business. And to understand many financial principles that can move their lives in the right direction and accumulate wealth.

We have made Chicktime Empowered the vehicle to make this and many other positive things happen for women.
