About Our Chapter

Chicktime Sacramento started in September 2017 with a vision from Jeanette George. Jeanette is now passing her legacy to Sarah Dunwald. Sarah joined Jeanette in 2017 as soon as Chicktime was presented to her knowing it was the perfect way to share her passion for children.

Sarah’s passion for children is a 24 hr/day, 365 days/ year commitment. Between her own 4 children, her career with special needs students, volunteering in a special needs ministry at her church and now Chicktime, Sarah gives 100% to the children in her care.

Our goal for Sacramento is to share our gifts and talents with the children at the Saint Johns For Real Change. We want them to know that they are loved, that they have a purpose and that they can do anything that they put their minds to. We strive to bring them joy and encouragement through our monthly workshops.

Chicktime Sacramento was founded by Jeanette George in 2017 and she was the fearless leader of Sacramento our chapter until 2018! She was professional nanny and worked with families for years. Her belief was that time spent with children is never time wasted which is why she choose to invest so much time into the children of her community. Her heart broke for children who have experienced abuse and neglect in their short lives and wanted to do everything within her power to be a positive role model for them. When she’s not working or volunteering, you can find Jeanette at home reading or playing with her cat!

Her goal for Chicktime Sacramento is to bring light, love, and service to our community. She made it her mission to work with children and families by hosting fun and creative workshops for children who are hurting and can use the sunshine in their lives. Chicktime will forever honor the foundation that Jeanette built in Sacramento!
