Where We Serve

Breath of Life is an Austin-based Christian maternity ministry that exists for the sole purpose of serving homeless pregnant women, age 18 and up, who have chosen to parent their child or plan for adoption. They not only help women prepare to care for their unborn child, they also offer residential assistance, adoption services and long-term support to help each woman recognize her value as a daughter of the King.

Breath of Life is a group of professional caregivers who understand the emotions and challenges that adoption brings, because each one of them is either a birthparent, adoptive parent, or both!

The staff feels called to care for birthmothers who often have no one else to turn to during the most difficult time in their lives. They do this by providing support, counsel, resources, guidance, prayer, and encouragement, both prior to and following the birth and/or placement of their child.
