Why I Serve a Leadership Role with Chicktime:
As the Chicktime Rancho Cucamonga Managing Leader, I am excited to connect with girls that come from similar backgrounds by showing them the love and respect they deserve. As a survivor of child abuse, I know the importance of strong leaders and that one person truly can make a difference. I was searching for something where I could marry my gifts and passion for serving youth of similar upbringing and that’s where Chicktime jumped off the pages of volunteermatch.org and I knew God was calling me to where I was needed most. My mother and I were bullied and abused at home by my father, and then at school the bullying continued with my peers. I decided to make my life a story for others to learn, grow and heal their spirits.
My Hobbies & Interests:
I am happily married to her husband for 20 years and we have two children and 3 fur babies. I am California Native and grew up in the Inland Empire on my family ranch in Chino. As an only child, I had developed quite a knack for make-believe and the world of performing was born in me like wildfire. At the age of nine, I appeared in her first theatrical performance through the local playhouse as “Gazelle #1” in The Jungle Book. After soaking up the thrill that only performing in front of a live audience could offer, I was hooked! Performing has always been a great escape from pain and acting was a match.
My Passions & Gifts:
Through pageantry, I have found that I am able to expand volunteering my time to youth. My passion is simply being of service to others!

Why I Serve a Leadership Role with Chicktime:
I am passionate about helping others. I have served in various leadership roles with such organizations as Boy and Girl Scouts, PTA, Community baseball and softball organizations and Cheer Booster Clubs. I love to mentor and help others grow. When the opportunity was presented to me, I was more than happy to jump on board and help develop a chapter for our area.
My Hobbies & Interests:
I love the gym, I may not look like it right now, but I enjoy working out, any water activity, (we own a boat) and summer is a favorite time for me. I love to travel!!
I am currently a Girl Scout Leader for our area, mentoring a group of 3rd grade girls. I love this. I enjoy my career in Real Estate! I love finding that perfect home for my clients! I have 4 children from our blended family, two girls from my husbands’ side and a girl and boy on my side ages 32-18. We love our kids and enjoy watching them grow and learn!
My Passions & Gifts:
I spent 34 years in the restaurant industry prior to Real Estate. I was a District Manager for a large fast food company. I know how and what employers look for during the interview process, I have managed and mentored thousands of employees 16 years of age and up. I lead the training teams throughout my career, and I can truly add value to our older girls looking to enter the work force. My knowledge and skills in crafts, outdoor activities, camping and bonding are also quite strong through my many years in scouting. I am truly passionate about helping others! This is my life driver!
