Where We Serve

Chicktime Phoenix is proud to serve New Life Center! The passion and commitment of New Life Center is best demonstrated by its mission:”Saving Lives, Building Futures…Empowering survivors escaping domestic violence.” New Life Center provides a temporary safe haven for families fleeing domestic violence. Our comprehensive 120-day program empowers families to craft independent lives.

In addition to safety, the Center provides necessary living needs – food, clothing, and bedding – since most residents enter with no belongings. Advocates assist families in working towards achieving both short- and long-term goals and support is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Advocates offer individual and group interventions to address the many needs of residents. Individual sessions allow each woman to work through the unique circumstances in her life and group sessions focus on the common experiences of surviving domestic violence. New Life Center is proud of our 24 years of experience serving domestic violence victims. The brave women who come to us seeking help have been and will continue to be our number one priority.

New Life Center offers shelter, safety, and services to families seeking independent, violence-free lives. High-quality programs demonstrate respect for the individual and a serene environment in which families can heal and plan for the future. The passion and commitment of New Life Center is best demonstrated by its mission: “Saving Lives, Building Futures…Empowering survivors escaping domestic violence.”

New Life Center believes that every family has the right to live free from violence. The passion of our board, volunteers, and staff extends to the youngest victims of domestic violence – children who witness domestic violence or are abused themselves. Therefore, our philosophy is to offer comprehensive programs that afford families opportunities to create independent lives free from domestic violence and to provide quality, comprehensive children’s services to break the generational cycle of abuse. At New Life Center, women make life-altering commitments to set in motion changes for themselves and their children. Over 90 percent of the families leaving New Life Center does not return to the abusive situation from which they came. New Life Center does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, religion, sex, disability, and age in the delivery of services or in employment practices.
