Our first Chicktime event has been scheduled with Niles Home for Children on June 1st, 2013 from 1:30-3 pm.  Victoria will be doing a Leadership activity with the girls.

We are looking for
– “floating volunteers” who can show up any month with no notice and simply join in activities.
– “monthly leaders” who actually commit to planning a particular month with a theme or type of activity.
– volunteers who are interested in helping with a certain month or set of activities.

Our WELCOMING-KICK OFF BRUNCH will be Saturday, June 29th, 2013. 10am-12:00pm.

We welcome you to come share ideas and get to know one another. We will be sharing  information on what volunteering with our chapter is all about, information about our partnership with Niles Home for children and prepare for the upcoming  monthly activities that we will be providing for the Girls at Niles throughout the year and next!

Chicktime is about empowering women in the community to share their gifts and passions with others. Chicktime is about finding our purpose, and inspiring others to make this world a better place.

Please join me as we embark on a journey of healing, friendship, service and love while empowering ourselves as individuals to continue to believe in our dreams, passions, gifts.

Our KC Chapter welcomes any Ladies in Kansas City or surrounding areas 18 or older to join us. Girls 12 or older can volunteer with an adult.

*Niles Home for Children is in need of Personal hygiene products: African-American hair products (Moisturizer, Leave in conditioner, Styling gels, Barettes,Clips, etc.) Bath or hand soap, liquid body wash, fragrance sprays, scented lotions, deodorant  and sanitary products.* We will have a box available at our kick-off for anyone that would like to donate an item.*
