Why I serve a leadership role with Chicktime:
My love and passion for Jesus, calls me to serve in all areas of my life. Matthew 20:28 “For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve others.” I have been very connected ongoing to the need to care for orphans, and in Texas that means those within the foster care system. James 1:27 “Pure and genuine religion in the sight of God the Father means caring for orphans and widows in their distress and refusing to let the world corrupt you.” This IS me and everything I believe. It is WHO I am. There is true connection for me with these children, as I always want to leave them feeling SEEN and HEARD and that they know they are more than the circumstances they were dealt. I have my own personal testimony of childhood abuse and neglect to relate and share in this truth. That is how we serve the children of Texas- Break The Cycle!
My passions and gifts:
I have a passion for women’s ministry and missionary work with children. God is building a kingdom for Himself. He is rescuing people, and He invites us into this adventure of seeking and saving the lost. I LOVE participating in this adventure. Living my life being sent is my greatest passion!
Hobbies and interests:
I love all things crafting, but my personal favorite is Bible journaling. I love traveling, antiquing, cultural foods and just resting with a good cup of coffee!

Why I serve a leadership role with Chicktime:
My husband and I have a heart for the precious children of foster care. Both of our daughters were fostered/adopted. There is a need for all people, but especially the children with broken hearts, homes, and spirits, to know they are valued, loved, and worth more than gold. ChickTime is a God-given gift to me, that will allow me to connect and show this love to others.
My passions and gifts:
I love sharing, connecting, and teaching. Helping, building up, and serving others is what fills my heart.
Hobbies and interests:
I’ve grown up around just about every kind of farm animal you can think of: I love them! I enjoy travel, hiking, gardening, hunting/fishing, making/serving people through coffee, and teaching my family ways we can appreciate God’s creation and gifts for us.
