March Fun
February Update:
This Saturday we were fortunate to have Miss Tina to lead our February workshop. Although Miss Tina has always shown love to our kids here at Roy Maas Youth Alternatives, from her generous donations throughout the years and as a workshop helper, it was her first time leading an activity. Boy did she go above and beyond! She brought many art activities and games for the kids. The kids loved the paint by number canvases! Check out how cute they were in our photos!
We had Miss Alysia and Miss Jamie help out, our other two dedicated helpers! As we painted, the kids introduced us to new music and told us of modern day cartoons that we never heard of. It was so nice to hear their little voices singing together. Miss Isabel also joined in and gave her coloring masterpiece to one of the kids, who was absolutely delighted to get a gift from her.
When our time came to leave, the kids were bummed because they thought the time passed too fast. Unfortunately no one finished their canvas because we were all so engaged in our conversations, but Miss Tina left the paints and brushes behind so they would be able to finish later on. We cleaned up and ended our time by passing out Miss Jamie’s cute valentine goodie bags.

Thank you to all our returning and new volunteers! You ladies are the best!
