Loving The Holidays

November Update:

Our November workshop was a modified version of Zentangle! The girls at Safe Landing outlined their names—or a positive attribute—and then filled in the letters with simple, repetitive patterns to create a one-of-a-kind piece of art.

They also enjoyed chocolate-covered pretzel snacks while our Zentangle designs were laminated.

It was another special time, not only for the girls, but also for the volunteers who showed up. We can see the girls’ hearts are full during our activities each month, and we feel the impact we are making just as deeply. You know that feeling when you feel valued and worthy?

That’s the space we are creating together.

We’ll be back on Saturday, December 13 with a little holiday fun, and in the new year we’ll continue meeting on the second Saturday of each month at 10 AM. We would love for you to join us one month and experience the mission of Chicktime Akron!
