Let’s Get Crafty!

April Update:

These photos maybe don’t show much. Today was Chicktime Richmond’s first event. And I was our only volunteer that came. To be completely open, I just felt like a failure for not recruiting more volunteers.

However, about ten kids showed up. Ten kids who were at Hilliard House shelter for being homeless.

One of these pictures is of a cupcake decorated by a 9 year old girl who had been living on the street with her grandma and 2 year old sister, and she gave me a hug today.

So, to me, these pictures show a lot. They show happy kids, getting to have a cupcake
