January Highlights!

January brought lots of pampering and spicy salsa moves! It was a wonderful way to start the new year! It filled the girls with good self-esteem and a confidence boost. Our two activity leaders this month were Regina, with the pretty facials and nail painting, and Jill, with her red hot salsa moves! Although we were not able to get every single nail painted, every girl was excited to participate in the pampering!

After the girls were dolled up, they were ready for the dance floor. Jill explained to them why she was so passionate about salsa dancing and showed off her salsa heels she wore on her wedding day salsa dance. After the girls learned the basics of the salsa moves they had a chance to show them off! We made a circle and took turns showing off our moves inside the circle. It was an exciting and fun filled day!!

As always I would love to give a huge thanks to our activity leaders for supplying the materials and the activities for the girls! We also want to thank all the volunteers that joined us and made the day so special for the girls at the Krause Children’s Center!

We love everyone of these girls and we want to show them why! Join us next month February 14th at 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM and give the gift of love!
