Hanging out in the Park!

June Update:

Perhaps Pam the leader of Shine Usa and their flagship program Kingdom Zone said it best “ It was a sweet time tonight. Kids who were not in the program wanted to read the Bible. I might have to just hang out in the park & read the Bible w kids. ”

THIS is why we CHICKTIME!!

THIS is we we show up week after week rain or shine!

THIS is why we build relationships!

Not just with our babies but also their families.

THIS is why we spent two weeks of intensive phonics lessons at the beginning of June, so we can teach them to read the Bible!

THIS is why when we see a need in their community we try to tackle it.

We LOVE them!

The children had an amazing time eating pizza, cupcakes, assorted chips, watermelon and they had a beautiful Bday cake to celebrate all the May and June Bdays.

BUT the goal of the team never changes..

We are there to share the word, HIS word.

To teach them the gospel.

To teach them to read the Bible and to build a relationship with them

To build trust.

So that we did!

Nick my nephew really enjoyed the time he spent with KZ

He said “ I like how you teach the a Bible lesson Tia, how they have to earn the things they get”

He gets it!!
