Giving and Thanks

This month’s workshop looked a little different. We didn’t have as many girls as usual, and our volunteer group was smaller too — but it turned out to be exactly what God intended. The smaller group made for an intimate time of reading and meditating on His Word.

Our theme was forgiveness, and we brought the parable of the unforgiving servant to life through a skit that everyone participated in — it was so much fun! Afterwards, we had a powerful discussion that went much deeper than we expected. We had prepared a craft, but decided to set it aside so we could continue sharing and reflecting together.

It was one of those rare, perfectly orchestrated moments with the Holy Spirit — full of connection, truth, and peace. Our hearts are simply to spread His light to the girls at Sunnybrook Children’s Home, and we are humbled that God continues to use us month after month.
