Carol Biesemeier and her band of volunteers provided a great experience for the girls at New Life.  They really enjoyed learning how to sew by making their very own pillow cases,  There were beautiful fabric combinations with bright and bold prints, something for anyone’s taste.  Many of the girls have never even seen a sewing machine and watching them learn to use one was a pure joy.   Mr. Jay is always a big hit with the girls, playing the guitar and singing really fun songs.  Such great entertainment!  Carolyn led the snack and game station where we also celebrated our Director of Volunteers, Lisa Brown’s birthday with delicious cake pops.  What a treat!
