Fall Festivities

October Update:

This Saturday was so fun! We had such a great time painting little haunted houses with the kids. Miss Nicole brought the kids some light up wooden Halloween themed cottages and they were a hit! Miss Jamie provided spooky decorations for the houses. We listened to October themed music, which then lead to Disney songs, and then Miss Selina began taking DJ requests.

One memorable moment was when one of the kids requested to play Happier by Marshmello & Bastille. All the kids began singing at the top of their lungs in unison the lyrics. It was such a beautiful moment, especially when you hear the lyrics they were singing the loudest:

Lately, I’ve been, I’ve been thinking

I want you to be happier, I want you to be happier…

At the end of the activity, we put all our painted haunted houses together to create a Halloween village. And then, the moment they had all been waiting for….we turned off the lights and the village lit up! It was so awesome!

The kids had a blast and will be using their painted houses as night lights
