Decoupage Pumpkins

Decoupage Pumpkin

Materials

Plastic Pumpkins
Decorated Napkins with white background
Paint Brush
Mod Podge (liquid)

Mod Podge Sealer (spray)
White spray Paint or Acrylic Paint
Scissors
Blue Painter’s Tape

Procedure

Paint the entire pumpkin except for the stem. (Cover it in blue painter’s tape)

You need to peel off the back layer of a napkin and get it as thin as possible.

Then cut out your shapes in  the napkin.

Start by laying down a thin layer of the Mod Podge onto your pumpkin, and then you add the napkin on top and smooth it out.

Then you also put another layer of Mod Podge on top to really glue it down.

You’re going to repeat this process over and over until you have the whole thing covered.
Finally, Use this Mod Podge sealer on top.

This just gives it one extra layer of glue and that way if you touch it a lot or you store it throughout the seasons, it doesn’t get messed up.
