Cookie Decorating
August Update:
We had such a wonderful time at our August Workshop! Even with just one hour of activity, we made every minute count. Our longtime volunteer, Ms. Jamie, led the workshop and taught the kids an exciting water-resist art technique—everyone loved it! Each child was able to create at least two beautiful paintings. We chatted about anime, animals, siblings, and so much more. Despite the challenges they face, the kids’ hearts shone brightly as they painted the names of loved ones on their canvases. We wrapped up with Ms. Mattilyn handing out goodie bags and snacks generously provided by Ms. Selina, before the kids headed off for a fun trip to the zoo.
