Where We Serve

Established in 1979 by a group of community leaders with a vision to create new opportunities for at-risk youth, YES to YOUTH – Montgomery County Youth Services is a private, non-organization dedicated to committing time and effort to help youth and their families expand their existing strengths and build new hopes that will encourage future opportunities to enhance their lives.

BridgeWay Youth Shelter is a co-ed, short term shelter program for youth ages 10 – 17, who are in need of a temporary place to stay that is safe, secure, and provides immediate support and is a 90 day program. BridgeWay is part of Montgomery County Youth Services and Chicktime Conroe is proud to call it our charity partner! The vision of MCYS and Bridgeway is to be a child’s bridge from challenges today to achievements tomorrow. Montgomery County Youth Services provides crisis counseling, shelter programs, and prevention services to strengthen families, keep youth in school, and prepare them to be productive citizens. Their philosophy is to empower youth and their families by building on their existing strengths, expanding their opportunities, and enhancing their lives. By providing and implement effective, essential, and quality child and youth-centered programs, BridgeWay truly is bridging a way for the homeless teens in our community to find their way to independence and sustainability!
