About Our Chapter

Hello and welcome to Chicktime Birmingham! My name is Kirstin and I am so excited to meet you! In 2018, I joined the Chicktime Bham leadership team as a co-leader when Macey Starling told me about all the fun she was having at Grace House. My family is rooted in Calera and we have always been passionate about working with children who need strong mentors. I teach 5th grade in the Alabaster School System and am momma to a beautiful son and daughter. God has called me to serve his precious children! Along with my family, and both of my co-leaders here at Chicktime Birmingham, I am very active in our church and love the Lord. When our former Managing Leader, Macey moved back home to Dothan, I knew that I had to step up and lead our chapter because there is too much work to be done at Grace House for Chicktime not to be serving them! It is my goal to lead our chapter with grace and compassion… like Jesus!

I am passionate about the work we do at Grace House and would love for you join us! We meet on the 2nd Saturday of every month and can’t wait to meet you soon! We are not looking for perfect volunteers, but simply volunteers who are committed and enthusiastic to enrich the lives of the women and girls we will serve and to simply love God’s people.

With Love,
Kirstin Hall

Our History:

Macey Starling moved from Alabaster in September of 2017 and had been a part of our sister chapter, Chicktime Dothan, before moving to this area. Chicktime was something that Macey grew to love in a short time! For her, Chicktime had become a community of women that shared her interest in giving love to all of God’s children. That’s why Macey decided to lead Chicktime Birmingham! She came from the strong, established Dothan chapter so she had an example to live up to! It was her dream to grow the Birmingham chapter into a huge mission minded ministry that every woman would want to be a part of!  In 2018, Macey moved back to Dothan and began our second chapter in the Wiregrass!

In 2016, Molly McFarland realized that one thing was missing from her life… being a service to her community! She became the Managing Chapter Leader of Chicktime Birmingham and helped to ensure that the girls of Grace House still received the love and friendship that they deserved. We appreciate Molly and her great determination to keep Chicktime at Grace House and we look forward to supporting her in the next season of her life.

Chicktime Birmingham was founded in 2012 by Jennifer Poole on the belief Jennifer holds dear to her heart. By working closely with young girls Chicktime Birmingham is determined create moments together the Grace House girls can carry with them as they begin their journey into life… moments that help them grow into confident women with courage to make happiness for themselves because ultimately happiness isn’t found but intentionally created.
