Accounting
Each Chicktime group gets their own checking account and complete accounting services. Chicktime, Inc. takes care of everything… from reconciling each Chicktime account, to filing all financial transactions into Quickbooks, to keeping track of all donations and annually mailing out tax deductible letters to all of your donors.
By the 15th of every month, the treasurer of your group will receive a balance sheet along with a copy of your bank statement from Chicktime, Inc.
If you need a reimbursement from your account, simply submit your receipts and you will receive a check in the mail.
When you are ready to make donations with the money in your account, simply submit the name of the non-profit you would like to contribute to, and the amount… and you will receive a check in the mail. We recommend you personally send the check to your charity or hand deliver rather than Chicktime, Inc. mailing the check directly to your charity.
***Only 501 (c) (3) organizations are qualified to receive donations from Chicktime. Individuals, however needy they may be… nor charities without 501 (c) (3) status may receive donations from Chicktime.
***Why? There are federally approved public charities that qualify to make donations to individuals, but those organizations have much more control over their members. Because Chicktime leaves the bulk of the power with the individual Chicktime groups, the federal government is not allowing us to make donations to individuals.
Each Chicktime group qualifies for sales tax exemption for use within their Chicktime group (supplies for activities, decorations, food, etc.). To receive the state sales tax exemption number, contact Chicktime, Inc. at info@chicktime.com.
